ROCS by ASMAE
A multi-dimensional student evaluation and social competencies tracking platform. Streamlining classroom observation and report generation for educators.

The Challenge & Purpose
Prior to adopting ROCS, educators and coordinators relied entirely on classic paper sheets and manual data entry across disparate spreadsheets. This outdated workflow was time-consuming, prone to loss of records, and made longitudinal progress tracking almost impossible.
Monitoring student growth goes beyond standard grading. ASMAE NGO needed a comprehensive system to document and track multi-dimensional competencies (social, emotional, and academic) for children in educational programs.
As the Lead Designer & Developer, I built ROCS (Référentiel d'Observation des Compétences Sociales). Built specifically for teachers and administrators, it features a fast visual dashboard operating entirely offline-first, with automatic cloud synchronization when connectivity is available.
Key Capabilities
Dynamic Charts
Interactive, theme-aligned charts mapping student development metrics over semesters.
Multi-Format Export
Generate official educational reports instantly as PDFs or Excel sheets.
Offline-First
Full local database access via SQLite, enabling smooth operations with zero connectivity.
Adaptive Layouts
Pixel-perfect responsive designs scaling seamlessly from phones to desktop monitors.
Interface Design Showcase
User Onboarding
A modern dark-mode welcome screen establishing a friendly, clear entrance path for teachers and school administrators.
Secure Authentication
Wireframed login layouts focused on security, simplicity, and user-friendly input controls to minimize classroom setup overhead.
Evaluation Sheets
An intuitive offline evaluation grid supporting direct observation inputs for multi-dimensional social competency scoring.
Behind the Development
ROCS handles high-density data rendering. Custom canvas charting maps development indices, while a local SQLite database handles offline caching and queues background sync requests when connection returns.
